UN  House  Bombing:  Attack  on  The  World,  by  Four  Square  Chieftain

General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Reverend Felix Meduoye, has described last Friday’s bombing of the United Nations’ building in Abuja as act of war against the World.

The church leader who was in Abuja to attend the Abuja District 17th Convocation of the church, condemned the recent spate of bombings in the country which he said, ‘’is unfortunate development that was quite worrisome’’. He wondered why anybody could think of meting out such heinous acts of violence against the World’s most recognized humanitarian organization, such as the UN.

He said the culprits should be ready to face God and man. He however, attributed the development to ‘’lack of fear of God’’, saying that this is instrumental to the security challenges the country has been facing, which only God can resolve. According to the General Overseer, ’’where people don’t know God, they cannot consider the lives of others’’. He urged the Federal Government to do everything within its powers to fish out the perpetrators of the wicked crimes and bring them for immediate prosecution. He also appealed to the government to endeavour ‘’to equip security agencies properly to enable them discharge their responsibilities proactively and adequately’’.

The communiqué issued at the end of the convocation,  pointed out that the grace of God was abundant for those ready to receive the gift of salvation and that the  Nigerian  leadership and her people have to obtain Godly wisdom, to  transform the economy of the nation.  The convocation also resolved that ‘’the grace of God will usher the strength that will enable the leadership to exterminate any act of social vices, acts of man’s inhumanity to man.
