Pray for me, Nnaji begs Nigerians

Newly appointed Minister of Power and Professor of Robotic Engineering, Bartholomew Nnaji, has pleaded with Nigerians to assist him with lots of prayers so that he records huge successes in his current assignment.

The former Minister of Science and Technology made this appeal Friday during a reception organized for him by friends and well-wishers at the Palm Spring Cachez Gardens, Maitama, Abuja.

Speaking at the occasion, Nnaji who was the Special Adviser on Power to President Goodluck Jonathan before his appointment as Minister, said, “as you good people are rejoicing with me, you also need to commiserate with me, for, as the President said, my neck will be on the chopping bloc if power is not provided for Nigerians. So, I plead with you to pray constantly for me to succeed.”

The reception was attended by such men of means in Nigeria as former Senate President, Chief ken Nnamani, current Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Senators ben Obi, Annie Okonkwo, Joy Emordi, Osita Izunaso, Fidelis Okoro.

Others at the reception included the South-East zonal Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisah Metu, former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ogbonnaya Onovoh, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Agunwa Anaekwe, chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Barrister Oyibo Chukwu and Hon Uche Ekwunife, among others
